What's in a Name?

We're often asked why we chose the name Micawber Lettings and also how it is pronounced -  It's mick-aw-ber.

We named our business after Wilkins Micawber, a fictional character in the Dickens novel David Copperfield.

Micawber's business ventures were not always successful but whatever life threw at him, he remained hopeful and often repeated his motto "Something will turn up".

By the end of the novel, Micawber's optimism and hard work is rewarded as he became a respected bank manager and government magistrate.

We love Micawber's positive attitude and whether you're a landlord looking to rent your property or a prospective tenant trying to find the perfect home, we’ll help you remain positive because something will always turn up!
